1April 25th, 2014 - Justin Asplin set out to enter a pair of Super Late Model events in Missouri and Kentucky over the weekend. On Friday night the team traveled to Monett Speedway (Monett, Missouri) for a Weekly Racing Series program at the 3/8 mile oval. Asplin started the evening by winning his respective heat race after starting fifth, locking him into the outside pole position for the main event. Justin battled at the front of the pack for the duration of the feature before crossing the finish line in second behind Tommy Weder. Full results from the event are available at

The team planned to compete in the Bluegrass Nationals, a $10,000-to-win program at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway (Calvert City, Kentucky) on Saturday night. Unfortunately, issues with their hauler made them unable to attend as the weekend came to an early close.

1April 19th, 2014 - Justin set out to enter a pair of events in Iowa over the weekend, co-sanctioned by the Corn Belt Clash (CBC) Late Model Series and the MARS DIRTcar Series.

The weekend opened on Friday night with a $3,500-to-win race at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa). A stout field of thirty-six competitors entered the event, and heat race and b-main action found Asplin falling short of transferring to the feature event. As a result he utilized a provisional to start the main event in the 23rd position. He would charge from deep in the field in the feature, advancing thirteen spots to a solid tenth place finish.

The weekend concluded Saturday evening at 30 Raceway (Burlington, Iowa) with the annual Slocum 50, as forty-six entries entered the $10,555-to-event. Justin struggled to find the setup on his #77A entry and he was forced to again use a provisional to start the main event. He went on to finish 21st in the final rundown.

1April 12th, 2014 - Justin entered a $2,000-to-win program with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models on Friday night at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas). Twenty-five entries were on hand for the event, and Asplin started the night finishing second in the heat race to lock into the seventh starting spot on the grid for the main event. During the course of the 30 lap feature he would battle near the top five for much of the event before settling to an eighth place finish at the checkered flag.

Saturday took Justin to Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) for a $2,000-to-win race at the 1/4 mile oval. Justin picked up the win in his heat race to earn the fourth starting spot for the 40 lap main event. During the course of the feature, Asplin battled amongst the top five for much of the event before crossing the finish line in seventh.
