August 31st, 2014 - The Labor Day weekend found Justin participating in a pair of special events in the state of Missouri.

1Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) played host to the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) on Saturday evening as a thirty-four car field converged on the state-of-the-art facility. Justin won his preliminary heat race to lock into the second starting spot for the $3,000-to-win finale. Asplin slipped back to fourth early in the race, before receiving contact from Jesse Stovall on a lap eighteen restart. With damage to his #77 entry Asplin made a few laps before slowing to bring out the caution. Stovall and Asplin made contact again under the caution period, and Asplin was ultimately scored 25th in the final rundown.

1Sunday night action found the team invading Monett Speedway (Monett, Missouri) for the 44th Annual Four State Dirt Track Championship, which posted a $4,000 top prize and was sanctioned by the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Models. With thirty-seven entries in the pit area Justin raced to a second place finish in his heat race, which locked him into the main event. The 40 lap feature found Justin settling to an eleventh place finish.

1August 23rd, 2014 - The Mid America Racing Series (MARS) competitors went toe-to-toe with the United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) drivers over the weekend with a pair of $5,000-to-win events in Kentucky and Missouri.

Action began on Friday evening at Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Kentucky) as twenty-one entries converged on the 3/8 mile oval. A fourth place finish in his heat race locked Asplin into the eleventh starting spot for the finale. During the course of the feature he advanced to a sixth place finish in the final rundown.

The team headed north on Saturday evening to Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri), where twenty-eight entries filled the pit area at the 1/3 mile oval. A third place finish in his heat race transferred Justin to the finale, where he started in the ninth position. He would go on to pass three cars to finish record another sixth place finish.

1August 16th, 2014 - Justin Asplin entered the 22nd Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 presented by Crop Production Services at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) over the weekend.

The $40,000-to-win program, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Lucas Oil presents the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), saw sixty-three Super Late Models register for action.

Justin's qualifying efforts found him starting third in the sixth heat race. He went on to finish fourth but, only the top three finishers moved on to the 100 lap finale, sending him to a b-main. Asplin started third in his b-main and battled for a transfer position early before fading to a ninth place finish, bringing his weekend to an early end.

1August 8th, 2014 - Justin made the long tow to Junction Motor Speedway (McCool Junction, Nebraska) over the weekend for the 11th Annual King of the Hill, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA), Mid America Racing Series (MARS), and the National Championship Racing Association (NCRA).

On Friday evening a $2,000-to-win program was held that drew twenty-eight entries, and Asplin started his outing with struggles in heat race action which sent him to a b-main. Justin rocketed from eleventh in the b-main to finish third, earning him the fifteenth starting spot on the feature grid. During the course of the 25 lapper Asplin advanced eight positions en route to a seventh place finish.

Saturday night's $3,000-to-win finale was nixed by rain.

August 2nd, 2014 - The team entered a pair of Super Late Model events in Illinois and Kansas over the weekend. Friday night found the team pitted at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for a UMP Weekly Racing Series program. Justin went into battle again a field of twenty-one entries, and a third place finish in the first heat race earned him a spot in the evening's dash. He finish fifth in the dash to lock into the fifth starting spot for the feature. In the main event Asplin raced to a fourth place finish behind race winner Randy Korte, Rickey Frankel, and Tim Manville. Full results from the event are available at www.TriCitySpeedway.net

1On Saturday evening Justin competed in a $3,066-to-win race at Caney Valley Speedway (Caney, Kansas), which was sanctioned by the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Model tour. Twenty-six entries took to the 1/4 mile oval, and Asplin charged to a second place finish behind Jesse Stovall in his heat race, which locked him into the sixth starting spot for the feature. In the main event Justin fell back to ninth early on in the race before marching his way back to a third to finish behind race winner Tony Jackson Jr. and Chance Bishop. Brandon McCormick and Cole Wells rounded out the top five finishers.
