1July 19th, 2014 - Justin traveled to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) over the weekend for the 4th Annual Silver Dollar Nationals, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Lucas Oil MLRA and posted a $30,000 winner's check.

With fifty-four Super Late Models entered Friday night's program was headlined by double heat races with the top eighteen point's earners locking into the feature, while the balance of the field went to a b-main. Justin failed to transfer to the feature via heat race action, but earned the sixth starting spot for the b-main. In the b-main only the top three finishers moved on to the feature, and Justin slipped back to a seventh place, falling short of the mark.

Despite not getting to run the main event Asplin did earn a starting spot in the $3,000-to-win, Belt Bash Non Qualifiers' event. After starting sixth on the grid Justin continued to battle the handle on his #77 B&A Lumber/Midwest Sheet Metal/Club 29/Hatfield Racing Engine Super Late Model, and ultimately finished fifteenth in the final rundown.
