1May 31st, 2014 - The team entered a single event over the weekend as they traveled to the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri). The Mid America Racing Series (MARS) sanctioned the $5,000-to-win program, which was deemed the "Talker Guy 5k Challenge."

A strong field of twenty-seven Super Late Models were registered for battle, and a sixth to fourth run in his heat race positioned Justin starting sixteenth on the grid for the finale. During the feature Asplin battled the handle on his entry around mid-pack for much of the event before settling to a nineteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

1May 25th, 2014 - Justin Asplin set out to a busy Memorial Day weekend in the state of Missouri. Action began on Thursday evening with a $5,000-to-win, Lucas Oil MLRA event at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri), which served as the opening round of the 22nd Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100. A stout field of sixty-four entries were on hand for the program, and Justin failed to qualify for the finale. Full results from the event are available at www.MLRARacing.com

On Friday night Round #2 of the $30,000-to-win, 22nd Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100 was contested, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Sixty-five entries took to the 3/8 mile oval unfortunately, technical issues prior to time trials forced Asplin to withdraw from the balance of the program. 1The weekend concluded on Sunday evening at the historic Monett Speedway (Monett, Missouri) with the annual Tony Roper Memorial, which was highlighted by a $3,000-to-win program for the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) competitors. Twenty-three cars entered the race, and a third place finish in his heat race transferred Justin to the feature, where he raced his way to a fourth place finish. 1May 10th, 2014 - Saturday night found the team at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) for the annual John Kuntz Memorial, sanctioned by the MARS DIRTCar Series Super Late Model tour. Twenty-one entries were on hand for the event, and a second place finish in his heat race locked Asplin into the sixth starting spot for the 40 lap, $3,000-to-win finale. He quickly moved into the top five and went on to record a solid third place finish behind race winner, Terry Phillips and Brandon Morton while Brandon McCormick and Tony Jackson Jr. rounded out the top five finishers. 1May 3rd, 2014 - Justin entered a trio of $3,000-to-win events with the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Model tour over the weekend. Action got underway with a return trip to Monett Speedway (Monett, Missouri) on Friday night. Thirty-one entries were on hand, and Asplin started his outing by winning his heat race to lock into the feature. He would go on to race in the top five throughout the event before crossing the finish line in the third spot behind race winner, Will Vaught and Jack Sullivan.

Saturday night found the team pitted at Dodge City Raceway (Dodge City, Kansas) with nineteen entries on hand and another heat race win would lock Justin into the main event. He found himself racing in the top ten for much of the main event before crossing the finish line in ninth.

The weekend drew to a close on Sunday evening at 81 Speedway (Wichita, Kansas). Justin earned his starting spot in the finale via a fourth place finish in his heat race among the twenty entries registered for battle. He again found himself racing in the top ten before recording an eighth place finish at the checkered flag.
